Allison Mangone, LAMFT, MS, enjoys guiding couples and individuals towards forming meaningful relationships with others and with themselves.

Most of her clients are Millennials who are working hard to pursue their passions while trying to make a living and manage expectations of where they're "supposed" to be at this point in life. Allison focuses heavily on recognizing internal and external pressures so that clients are able to determine motivations behind the patterns of their actions. It is common for Allison to challenge clients’ bullshit in session with her motto of “let’s be real,” accompanied by an understanding head tilt and overly dramatic eye-roll when necessary.

Allison believes in strong boundaries, permission to feel a range of emotions, acknowledgement of irrational thoughts, and taking breaks. Her approach as a systemic therapist leads her to integrate bits of Structural Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a LAMFT (Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist), Allison works under the dual supervision of Annisa Pirasteh, LMFT, and Angela Dainas, LMFT, with the clinical direction of Celeste Meyer, LPC, LMHC. To schedule with Allison, give her a call at 404-907-3746 or reach out via email at amangone.atl@gmail.com.
